This week, I’m sharing some work at this Holiday Exhibit and Sale. 11/15-18. Please come!
“Big Queens Drawing Day,” the first of several public projects I have planned in collaboration with Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning.
From the Archives: I’m not sure what I was thinking about way back in 2008 when I drew this, but it seems like it could be relevant to today. Resource consumption and what we depend on for energy, maybe? I don’t drive, but I feel for all the people who are spending so much time on line to get gas this week. (PS: That water damage has nothing to do with Sandy, just my own clumsiness.)
A fresh palette of Chick Magnets! These will be available in ArtBoxNY at @QueensMuseum later this week!
Stop by the @QueensMuseum tomorrow for “Boo: An Underwater Halloween Spooktacular” and get treats from the just installed, new and improved ArtBoxNY! http://www.queensmuseum.org/visi/special-events
“Vulnerable States,” by Guillermina de Ferrari. Thanks to Professor Jerry Philogene, who spotted this book at a conference in Miami and sent me a photo. The cover image is from my “Ties That Bind” series from the mid 90s.
